The developer stated the game’s biggest challenge is transitioning the series stylus-based gameplay from Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS to different systems. The story was initially planned to take place in an alternate timeline to the original series, but is now a wholly originally tale. The story is also set in a brand new school in Nagasaki rather than Raimon, the school from previous titles. In the original story, Unmei Sasanami is different to past protagonists in that he is a coach and scout rather than a player. The other is a “Chronicle Mode” where players will build up a team feature characters from across the Inazuma Eleven series as the title was initially envisioned. The first is its original story mode, which stars new protagonist Unmei Sasanami. Victory Road of Heroes is planned to have two separate game modes. ![]() The new title is said to better reflect the game’s readjusted original story. The update comes with the reveal of an adjusted title, with it changing from Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes to Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road of Heroes.
